Not sleeping dreams…those still come unbidden, weird and unstructured as ever. But the other kind…the waking kind…the ideas that don't have a purpose yet kind…the thoughts that exist just because they want to exist kind…
I know what happened….We got busy and we got practical. Creativity became measurement, optimization and engagement. Dreams became saves. Dreams became influenced. And slowly, almost imperceptibly, the space where ideas used to breathe got smaller and tighter.
To Dream Again is to remember that creativity isn't a deliverable. It’s a state. It’s the willingness to sit with something unformed and resist the urge to make it useful too quickly. It’s trusting that the mind knows where it needs to go, even when it can’t explain why. ESPECIALLY when it can’t explain why.
This year, we asked ourselves a question with no right answer: What are you dreaming about right now?
The responses were unexpected. Some were grand, some were barely whispers. Some people dreamed of reinvention. Others dreamed of rest. A few confessed they'd forgotten how to dream at all, which is its own kind of answer.
Together, these fragments form something tender. A collective exhale. A reminder that beneath the calendars and the calls and the constant forward motion, there's still a place where ideas can wander without direction. Where creativity begins before it becomes anything else.
To Dream Again is an invitation to reset and make space for what's next. In 2026 we’re letting ideas do the driving…choosing courage over caution, imagination over routine.
