Most consider Friday 13th unlucky, but not at The Charles…Friday July 13th 2018, marked our annual day trip out of the city aka One Fine Day. This year #OFD2018 took place at the beautifully idyllic Lake Canopus, the aptly named jewel of Clarence Fahnestock Memorial State Park.
For those that don’t know already, One Fine Day was created to give the team the opportunity to spend quality time with each other and away from their machines. This years activities once again focused on boating, fishing, bbq-ing, maxing and relaxing

This year’s chosen t-shirt theme, was based on the concept of Friday the 13th Camp style – think Iron Maiden, mixed with Wolf Pack and movie credit vibes – hand illustrated and designed by Bianca. Not ones to shy away from the hypebeasts – we also produced a limited edition “Sound of Music x Friday 13th” tee designed by Kyra.
Never not living the good life – we quaffed on champagne generously provided by our client Armand de Brignac. And celebrated the individual brilliance of the team during our #OFD2018 Award ceremony. (Shout out to Juhong for winning ‘The Most Creative Usage of No’ Award).
